My Woozy Veggie Tales

I forgot to mention... Alongside the port was "A taste of Slovenia." Free tastings of different cheeses, breads, chocolate, desserts, nuts, and wine.. LOTS of it! The people were so friendly and handed me wine right away. I took full advantage of the opportunity and tasted it all -a few times. The best were the nuts.. I love nuts! I couldn't help but smuggle out a napkin full for later. (Katrina's probably thinking, "how whatey, Erika!")

As I back-tracked my way to the train station, I got to the square and I came across human sized fruits/vegetables. Mind you, I was feeling quite tipsy from the generous servings of red and white wines. I thought: Am I really this drunk? Did I get rufied? What's going on here? PS: The mushroom and tomato were riding around on bicycles!

One man dressed in jeans and a blazer was conducting the others (inside the mascot suits) to squeeze inside a tent. I immediately thought it was some sort of initiation. Something I'd expect to see at Mizzou's Conservation Hall as a fraternity/pledging stunt but not at an old elegant square lol.

So I asked and it was actually the start of a bachelor party. Really? Huh -that's different but whatevs. Haha it was just so weird and random I couldn't stop laughing. Apparently the bachelor's buddies dress up and they have to find women to cut wholes in the bachelor's pjs until he's in his tighty-whities. NONE of it made ANY sense to me, but with my head spinning I didn't bother to try to understand. So I just went along with it. "Want to cut a whole in his shirt?" the celery asked. "Haha what? Sure, why not!" A crowd gathered. Haha the things I get myself into. Even the paparazzi showed up for the cutting ceremony (no but really, that creepy cameraman came out of nowhere and wouldn't stop snapping pics of me I was like wtf.) Then the pineapple asked for 40 cents to contribute for wedding costs. "What?? (just go with it Erika)" So I gave them my donation.

But anyway, that was my random comic relief for the day.
